CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS SNIT??!!
CHICAGO (WLS) - A lot of reaction Wednesday morning to Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky's interview with Don Wade and Roma.
Schakowsky said that Americans don't deserve to keep all of their money because we need taxes to support our society.
“I’ll put it this way. You don’t deserve to keep all of it and it’s not a question of deserving because what government is, is those things that we decide to do together. And there are many things that we decide to do together like have our national security. Like have police and fire. What about the people that work at the National Institute of Health who are looking for a cure for cancer,” Schakowsky said.
Schakowsky also says one reason the 2009 stimulus bill did not succeed was because it was not large enough.
Schakowsky also admitted there are questions about the Obama administration's connection to the now bankrupt Solyndra solar panel company.
The administration approved nearly $528 million in federal loans to the company, before Solyndra filed for bankruptcy.
Schakowsky sits on the House Energy and Commerce Committee Investigations and Oversight Panel, which is holding hearings Wednesday into the matter. She said she and other Democrats want answers.
"You know, it certainly doesn't sound good. The Democrats are not going to shrink from actually, you know, from any kind of full investigation of that. If there is a problem we're certainly going to support the efforts to get to the bottom of this," Schakowsky said.
Schakowsky did say that even though public money was involved, the Solyndra controversy does not compare to the damage the Enron energy scandal inflicted on the U.S. economy.
Also in the interview, Schakowsky talked about the victory of Republican Bob Turner, in the Tuesday special election to replace ex-Congressman Anthony Weiner. Turner, who is Catholic, won in a district that is heavily Democratic and heavily Jewish, defeating an Orthodox Jewish Democrat.
Schakowsky, who is Jewish, denounced former New York Mayor Ed Koch, for getting involved in the race and criticizing President Obama's record on Israel.
"I thought it was really shameful in talking about Barack Obama as not good on Israel. He has provided more security for the state of Israel than any other president," Schakowsky said.

It's disgusting that they keep bickering only for their own greedy political personal interest. "WE" can plainly see they have no concern or interest for the people of this country or their welfare. They are "too stupid" to realize their 'indecision's' concerning all their government responsibilities are what's got this country in an uproar; unemployment, financial dilemma, uncertainty of all kinds. Seeing mature adults be as childish as they're being is an embarrassment to the nation and all the other nations that are watching. How can they even begin to suggest what's best for other countries when they can't even decide on their own as elected representatives of government.

It's called a "PEACEFUL" protest by American Citizens that are sick of "OUR" government. I'm sure they'd get the message!!!!!!!!!!!

How likely do you think it is that the U.S. would elect two black presidents in a row?
FROM CNN's Jack Cafferty: Terry Wells -Hoosier Hillbilly-IN
I've been pondering that same question in 'my' own mind also; not that the color of your skin should have anything to do with selecting someone to be be "OUR" next great leader ( but it wasn't black that made Zerobama) it was his cronies that dulitued and misled him [more experience in politics] would have guided him better than Reed & Pelosi. Now Cain has his own agenda, is secure in his own beliefs, and won't be hood-winked by party or politics, just like 'my' other { good Fellow } Ron Paul. What a combo! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Would you leave your bank over new monthly fees for debit cards or checking accounts?
FROM CNN's Jack Cafferty: Take a good look at your bank statements, because financial institutions are tacking on new fees as fast as they can.
Bank of America has come under a lot of fire for a planned $5 monthly charge for debit card use.
The only way to avoid the fee is to have a mortgage with the bank, keep a $20,000 minimum balance, or use the debit card only for ATM transactions. And Bank of America isn't the only one going the way of debit fees:
Wells Fargo says it's testing a $3 monthly fee in several states. and JP Morgan Chase announced a similar test last year. The banks are blaming new fees on Wall Street reform enacted after the bank bailouts, and more specifically the so-called Durbin amendment. The measure - named after Democratic senator Dick Durbin of Illinois - limits banks to charging $0.21 per debit card transaction. They used to charge an average of $0.44. The new rule is expected to cost the banks about $5 billion a year. So naturally they are looking for somewhere else to make that money up; and what better place than the consumer, right?
But Durbin himself claims that debit card usage costs banks less than $0.12 per transaction - far below the new cap of $0.21. He says consumers should consider switching banks to where they're treated better because of fees like this.
Meanwhile, Citibank - which bashed Bank of America on debit fees - will soon be charging many customers monthly fees for their checking accounts - unless they maintain much higher balances. Here’s my question to you: Would you leave your bank over new monthly fees for debit cards or checking accounts?
Terry Wells -Hoosier Hillbilly-IN Your comment is awaiting moderation.
Jack, I guess you know gov got into the banking business ( Bush 1st with Fannie & Freddie – then Obama with bail-outs for'm) . I suppose you can see how that's worked; they're an independent bunch of greedy money grabbers that won't let a political 'numnut' get ahead of 'm. Now if the gov had control from the billions tax payers have dolled out to save their asses, "WE" could say "STICK IT!" But since we obtained no control over these 'money grabbers' ((( Their will will be done!))) For some of the smaller banks [ that can fail ] it's an opportunity to gain customers and clout! Cummins Credit Union is giving its' customers a $20.00 bonus if you use your debit card 10 times in the next month, now that's free interprise!!!

WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
Obama has deliberately adopted a populist gimmick in calling to “tax the rich,” even as his 2012 run is reliant on Wall Street for financing even more so than four years ago. “Obama has even added new Wall Streeters who did not work for him in 2008, including former Goldman Sachs CEO Jon Corzine, Evercore Partners executive Charles Myers, Greenstreet Real Estate Partners CEO Steven Green, and Azita Raji, a former investment banker for JPMorgan,” according to a study by the Center for Responsive Politics. We really need to educate the OWS protesters that supporting Obama’s new tax agenda will do nothing to touch the very Wall Street institutions that financed his 2008 presidential campaign – the likes of Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan – it will only cripple smaller businesses and increase unemployment in America. The Buffett tax rule is also being promoted by MoveOn.org, a Democratic Party front group that has aggressively lobbied in support of Obama and his policies. The organization has also announced its intention to become involved in the Occupy Wall Street movement. For a group that is little more than a soapbox for the Wall Street-financed Obama administration to suddenly proclaim its support for anti-Wall Street protesters and attempt to define their message stinks of subversion

WASHINGTON (AP) — House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi said Sunday that Sen. Scott Brown's wisecrack about Democratic rival Elizabeth Warren shows he is clueless about women. During a Democratic primary debate Tuesday, Warren was asked about Brown's decision to pose nude in a magazine during law school. Asked how she paid for college, Warren said she kept her clothes on. "Thank God," Brown laughed during a radio interview about the comment afterward. He later said he was joking. And a good one it was! What did Poluteosi mean when she said he was clueless about women? What would he say if he saw this picture?

Scottish caddie
During his vacation at Martha's Vineyard - President Obama had been slicing off the tee on every hole.
He asks his Scottish caddy if he has noticed any obvious reasons for his poor tee shots, to which the caddy replies:
"Aye, there's a piece of shit on the end of yer driver. "
The President picks up his driver and cleans the club face, at which point the caddy says:
"No, the other end."

*Congressional Reform Act of 2011*
1. No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office.
2. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.
3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.
4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.
6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.
7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective 1/1/12. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen. Congressmen made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work.

I've watched so many clips of Republican debates, week after week, that it is playing like the movie, Ground Hog Day. Does anyone see any value in these? Is it simply an excuse to slam "Obamacare," the unemployed, the poor, etc without addressing jobs? Or is it just entertainment for the networks?

This is typical for campains this early in the hunt. First you have to destroy your party competition, then you can discuss your plans, programs and issues. You will soon see the candidates not mentioning much about what the opposing party is doing because it is shooting itself in the foot and they don't need to add anything to the obvious. So then, the individual, personal attacks will begin until a clear front runner is established and some of the others drop out along the wayside. Once the "air is cleared" they may then address the real issues. The important thing for them to do is to come up with some real, workable solutions and present them to the people. This election will be won by the person that has clear, concise solutions to the problems we face today. "Hope" won't get it anymore.
