Hello Hoosier, All I got to say about the budget fiasco is that the budget for fiscal year 2011 should have been finalized in 2010. Weren't the democrats in charge of not only the Oval Office but also the Senate and House back in 2010 when our elected officials should have already had a budget together. They were probably scratching their liberal heads trying to figure out how they will be able to pay for NobamaCare while tax revenue was going to hell in a hand basket.
So who's fault is it that the budget hasn't already been addressed and finalized? In my opinion that would be the Democrats that failed to perform their duties to which they were elected. It looks like many voters agree since they kicked the bums out during the mid-term elections of late 2010.

Obama said the reason they ( didn't get the budget done was because Bush left the country in a mess and it was more important to get things straightened out than pass a budget. Well! now he sees where that got him Then he proceeds to make even bigger messes that delay 'normal' politics ( there ain't no such thing ). As President Obama launches his 2012 reelection campaign"Compassion" seems to be the new "Change". Just why is Obama talking so much about compassion? YEW! that's right... compassion :: 'i' have compassion for "BIG O!!" 'i'd like to kick his a## to =kingdom come= for putting "US" in debt so much! com·pas·sion/kəmˈpaSHən/ Noun: Sympathetic pity and concern for the sufferings or misfortunes of others: "the victims should be treated with compassion". 'i' hope he means "US" compassion - ... Deep awareness of the suffering of another coupled with the wish to relieve it. See Synonyms at pity. So now we're going to have pity parties - WHO will attend? Compassion a feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow for another who is stricken by misfortune ( the entire population of theUnited States, since we're the ones' that has got to get the country out of the mess he put "US" in. , accompanied by a strong desire to alleviate the suffering. ... He can do that by leaving SS & Medicare alone!!!! Compassion - sympathetic consciousness of others' distress together with a desire to alleviate it. — WHO'S he kidding, his only desire is to gain a 2nd term, and if he does ((( WELCOME more socialism than ever ))) It's sad to say: "The President has screwed his own country" ; but 'i' just said it!!!!!!!!!

A Wish To Live Forever
I met a fairy today that said she would grant me one wish.
"I want to live forever," I said.
"Sorry," said the fairy, "I'm not allowed to grant wishes like that!"
"Fine," I said, "then I want to die after Congress gets their heads out of their asses!"
"You crafty bastard," said the fairy.

Does this sound like a ;threat; to 'U'?
The U.S. is expected to reach its current debt limit of $14.3 trillion on May 16th. That's just about two weeks away. If Congress doesn't agree to raise it, we could default on our debt obligations and that would have devastating effects on the markets and this economy. But simply raising it may not be that simple.
It's what the republicans are saying & the democrats refuse to cut deficits to prevent it. Politics has gone too far. They are all a**hole SB'S & I'm Tired of it! Let's either have sane gov. or none - we'd be as well off.

-By Charlie Reese
Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.
Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?
Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?
You and I don't propose a federal budget. The President does.
You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does.
You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.
You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.
You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.
One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one President, and nine Supreme Court justices equates to 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.
I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.
I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a President to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes.
Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.
What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits. The President can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it.
The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House? John Boehner. He is the leader of the majority party. He and fellow House members, not the President, can approve any budget they want. If the President vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.
It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million cannot replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.
If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.
If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red.
If the Army & Marines are in Iraq and Afghanistan it's because they want them in Iraq and Afghanistan ...
If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.
There are no insoluble government problems.
Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like "the economy," inflation," or "politics" that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.
Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible.
They, and they alone, have the power.
They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses.
Provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees.
We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!

It’s the seedy underbelly of Washington, D.C. The hallways of Congress are often dark alleys of wasteful spending and pork-laden deal-making. Down these lanes, shadowy special interests and empire-building bureaucracies lie in wait to relieve innocent taxpayers of their hard-earned money. They spend billions on wasteful programs, pet projects, and the accumulation of personal power. They threaten to bankrupt our country as our national debt soars out of control.
The victims often don’t even know it’s happening. Many don’t realize how bad it is. Do you?
sweeper, 'U' & Dent check this one out and see what 'U' thing about "OUR" current situation & what "WE" should do about it!
Tell 'me' what 'U' think!

CONGRESSIONAL EQUALITY??? Under the watchful eye of the mainstream media, Congressional members who happen to be Republicans must be VERY careful. No farting in public. Nothing that can be labeled as "untoward". Their families are also held to high standards. One slip and the MSM is all over them to resign "for the good of the country". They will be badgered for days on end, or however long it takes to get them to leave. Evidently there are different rules for the Democrats. Charlie Rangal got fussed at in front of Congress. And nothing changed. He's no longer a committee chairman, but that will probably change if, and when , the Dems come back into power. Barney franks and his male "compagnion ' running a male ho' house out of Barney's apartmeent. Nothing done. Weiner. Nuff said. If it wasn't for the public outcry from both Dem and Republican voters, Schlong Man would still be in the office. Now the ethics committee is investigating Rep Alcee Hastings (D) Florida for sexual harassment of staff members. Read anything about that in the paper? Seen anything on ABC, CBS, NBC or CNN about that? Have you read anything about 2 - TWO- Democratic Congressmen that have wives currently in prision for crimes committed while the Congressman was serving? John Conyers (D)-Michagan and John Tierney (D) Massachucetts both have wives in the slammer serving hard time. Maybe they can start a club "Congessmen who love Convicts"? The double standard is SO obvious, but is always denied by the MSM and all of the leftists. It shouldn't surprise you that they lied to you. They've all been doing it for years.

Seriously... First we need some decent candidates. We the people need to quit sending the same idiots back to office, especially after they show incompetence. Such as voting on Bills without even reading them. We should DEMAND that political corruption be dealt with quickly and harshly. The people need to research the candidates for themselves and make an educated vote.
Government is not supposed to be the Rich Uncle that owes us a check. To live like that makes the person a slave to the system, in my opinion.
Here in America we have the right to pursue happiness. Happiness is NOT guaranteed nor an entitlement.
If some able-bodied person expects a check from the government, they can start by signing up for free money at their local recruitment office.

I don't know if that will help. Our country is so weak willed and ignorant that there is not much help for us. Today, young people know nothing of history and civics. The American family has been destroyed by our own government and our enemies will beat us with our own fears. I would love to know the identity of the scumbag that added the clause to the welfare package that says the family cannot receive benefits if the father is in the house. The result is thousands of poor, single parent households. The death of the American family unit. I'd love to punch that SOB right in the nose!! Americans are not committed to anything today except themselves. They lack the spine that their parents and grandparents had and their strenght of determination to succeede and make our country great is nonexistant. If you look around, the truth is that all of the troops that died during and since WWII, died for nothing. Their efforts have been undermined by our government. Now they are going to rush the troops out of Afghanistan. The Taliban is NOT defeated. At least they will probably behave until the announced withdrawal date before taking over the country. I imagine the last American troops leaving will have to fight their way out. ALL of the whinny ass people bemoan the total number of troops killed in Afghanistan. Oh, freaking BOO HOO!! As a 24 year vet, I do not like to see any of my troops killed, but such is the nature of war and everyone in uniform knows that. But the American public is a bunch of spineless wimps that cannot balls up and go for victory like their parents did in WWII. Do you realise that the total number of troops killed in the entire time that we have been in Afghanistan is LESS than HALF of the total killed on the FIRST DAY of the Iwo jima invasion? What a bunch of weasels!! So no matter how fine of a dude you find for president, the major skill he will need is the ability to make the American public grow a set.
