Hey its 25 degrees here in Southern Indiana.. And hey they said it was going to warm up. Now can you believe it? Well I do guess they were right.. Last night it was only 21. How right can you get.. I hate to see what it will be when the say its gonna be hot here. I think this weather bit is a joke. They just keep you happy so you won't worry about that tornado that will hit till its to late. Well that is a little early for that. But you know the way the weather has been lately you never know.

70% chance of snow for Christmas. That's what they said! So it'll probably be in the high 50's or low 60's Christmas day.

Winter Weather Statement -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Statement as of 3:29 PM CST on January 12, 2012
...Winter Weather Advisory Remains In Effect Until Midnight Cst Tonight... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until midnight CST tonight. *On and off light snow will continue through the evening. As temperatures gradually drop through the 20s and into the upper teens...accumulations will be more likely...and wet roadways will freeze.
* Periods of generally light snow are expected to accumulate on roadways and cause travel issues...with up to an inch possible...but most areas will likely only see minor accumulations. This includes interstates 57...24 and 64...as well as The Purchase Parkway...western Kentucky Parkway and pennyrile parkways in Kentucky.
* Gusty northwest winds at 10 to 20 mph with gusts of 25 to 30 mph will cause blowing snow at times...which may further reduce visibilities...and add to the difficult driving conditions. Wind chill readings will fall into the single digits tonight...and some southern Illinois locations could have below zero wind chill readings late tonight.
