"we" don't get any rain soon & lots of it; forget 3/4 of an inch here, which saved the little fellers, but gona take alot more to make berries; like 2 inches between now & end of July... @ least! |

Each little rain drop has something to say
coming down from the sky to make 'U'r day
and as it's falling on it's way
it thinks about the fresh mown hay
now it's on the ground where it will lay
& if the 'little' drop doesn't wet it too much, then it may
be raked & bailed, for it will still pay
if the cloud doesn't keep the sun from it's ray
Why's the sun hiding behind that cloud
is it ashamed to come out and play
and make the 'little' rain drops proud
as they "sparkle" in the [glow=red,2,300]((( SUN ))) [/glow]on their way down!

It's HOT, DRY with a few fires burning so it's smoky as hell too.
I think it's about time for a lil tropical storm to brew up and help us out.

It's been a beautiful Florida day hoovering about 95 degrees with a light breeze, scattered clouds against a bright blue sky. Add about 10 minutes of sputtering rain to take the heat down a few degrees, and it's almost tolerable. Not quite the right conditions to do yard work, those only come around about two months out of the year.
