It's high time Sarah had her own board, she's a 'mover!' This little redneck country girl is stirring the Nation! She'll play a major part in the presidential election ( 'i' don't know if she'll run for it - but who ever does is going to want her on their side)
How many politicians do you know that can identify with the public more than she can? Looks, personality, and the [ down-home rhetoric ] to get peoples attention.
Sarah is going to Trademark her Name Candidate Seeks to Bolster 'Palin' Brand If she gets this accomplished, you'll see many others follow in her foot steps!
Thomas Van Flein, an attorney and close advisor to the Palin family, submitted the application to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
"It's certainly not typical, nor in my experience is it common for politicians to trademark their names but that's because politicians don't typically leverage their names outside of the political realm," Anthony Biller, an attorney with Coats and Bennett law firm, said. "[Sarah] Palin, regardless of what you think of her, she's followed an atypical path and she's certainly in the public light outside the realm of politics."
Since leaving the governorship of Alaska a year and a half ago, Sarah Palin has been on a media blitz. She has published two best-selling books. She has starred in a TLC reality TV show, "Sarah Palin's Alaska." She has a Twitter following of more than 400,000 people.
Sarah Palin's Facebook page, which she regularly updates, has nearly 3 million fans. She reportedly got a $7 million deal for her first book, and $250,000 per episode, according to the website The Daily Beast, for each of eight episodes of her TLC show. She has managed to keep a lid on her earnings from a multi-year contract with Fox News and a second book deal with HarperCollins. Palin's political action committee, Sarah PAC, raised more than $3.5 million in 2010.
Now for a little country girl that ain't too bad. She trademarks her name, that means if it's used she decides who does it, why their doing it, and gets paid for permission for them to use it! What a gal! She has it ( 'i' don't know what it is ) but she's got it!

By Dewie Whetsell, Alaskan Fisherman. As posted in comments on Greta's article referencing the MOVEON ad about Sarah Palin.
The last 45 of my 66 years I've spent in a commercial fishing town in Alaska . I understand Alaska politics but never understood National politics well until this last year. Here's the breaking point: Neither side of the Palin controversy gets it. It's not about persona, style, rhetoric, it's about doing things. Even Palin supporters never mention the things that I'm about to mention here. 1. Democrats forget when Palin was the Darling of the Democrats, because as soon as Palin took the Governor's office away from a fellow Republican and tough SOB, Frank Murkowski, she tore into the Republican's "Corrupt Bastards Club" (CBC) and sent them packing. Many of them are now residing in State housing and wearing orange jump suits The Democrats reacted by skipping around the yard, throwing confetti and singing, "la la la la" (well, you know how they are). Name another governor in this country that has ever done anything similar.
2. Now with the CBC gone, there were fewer Alaskan politicians to protect the huge, giant oil companies here. So she constructed and enacted a new system of splitting the oil profits called "ACES." Exxon (the biggest corporation in the world) protested and Sarah told them, "don't let the door hit you in the stern on your way out." They stayed, and Alaska residents went from being merely wealthy to being filthy rich. Of course, the other huge international oil companies meekly fell in line. Again, give me the name of any other governor in the country that has done anything similar.
3. The other thing she did when she walked into the governor's office is she got the list of State requests for federal funding for projects, known as "pork." She went through the list, took 85% of them and placed them in the "when-hell-freezes-over" stack. She let locals know that if we need something built, we'll pay for it ourselves. Maybe she figured she could use the money she got from selling the previous governor's jet because it was extravagant. Maybe she could use the money she saved by dismissing the governor's cook (remarking that she could cook for her own family), giving back the State vehicle issued to her, maintaining that she already had a car, and dismissing her State provided security force (never mentioning - I imagine - that she's packing heat herself). I'm still waiting to hear the names of those other governors.
4. Now, even with her much-ridiculed "gosh and golly" mannerism, she also managed to put together a totally new approach to getting a natural gas pipeline built which will be the biggest private construction project in the history of North America. No one else could do it although they tried. If that doesn't impress you, then you're trying too hard to be unimpressed while watching her do things like this while baking up a batch of brownies with her other hand. 5. For 30 years, Exxon held a lease to do exploratory drilling at a place called Point Thompson. They made excuses the entire time why they couldn't start drilling. In truth they were holding it like an investment. No governor for 30 years could make them get started. Then, she told them she was revoking their lease and kicking them out. They protested and threatened court action. She shrugged and reminded them that she knew the way to the court house. Alaska won again. 6. President Obama wants the nation to be on 25% renewable resources for electricity by 2025. Sarah went to the legislature and submitted her plan for Alaska to be at 50% renewable by 2025. We are already at 25%. I can give you more specifics about things done, as opposed to style and persona. Everybody wants to be cool, sound cool, look cool. But that's just a cover-up. I'm still waiting to hear from liberals the names of other governors who can match what mine has done in two and a half years. I won't be holding my breath. By the way, she was content to return to Alaska after the national election and go to work, but the haters wouldn't let her. Now these adolescent screechers are obviously not scuba divers. And no one ever told them what happens when you continually jab and pester a barracuda. Without warning, it will spin around and tear your face off. Shoulda known better.
You have just read the truth about Sarah Palin that sends the media, along with the Democrat party, into a wild uncontrolled frenzy to discredit her. I guess they are only interested in skirt chasers, dishonesty, immoral people, liars, womanizers, murderers, and bitter ex-presidents' wives. So "You go, Girl." I only wish the men in Washington had your guts, determination, honesty, and morals. I rest my case. Only FOOLS listen to the biased media.

She says what she wants, does what she wants and makes no apologies. And love her or hate her, you can't really argue with this: Politics as usual has never been Sarah Palin's style. "I wasn't wired to play that game," the former Alaska governor says in "Going Rogue," the memoir whose title reflects her affinity for going her own way.
'i' guess that's why 'i' like her, 'i'm kinda that way myself. It's a 'redneck' QUALITY! -Definition - a measure of excellence or a state of being free from defects, deficiencies, and significant variations, brought about by the strict and consistent adherence to measurable and verifiable standards to achieve uniformity of output that satisfies oneself
In my humble opinion ;D

If Sarah 'gets to be president', she won't be pretty any more; look what it's done to all other presidents, they've aged 10 to 12 years in only 4. Just look @ Hilliary and she really didn't even get that close! 'i' still got the old pictures to look @! "LOVE!" those lips Just makes you want to ~~~~~~~~~

Sarah Palin For President in 2012"Sarah Palin is the next Ronald Reagan." -- Richard Viguerie Palin 2012 Website Endorses Ron Paul ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Richard Viguerie on 2012 election: 'Our dream candidate would be Sen. Jim DeMint' Answering today’s five OFF-SET questions is Richard Viguerie, known as the “Funding Father of the conservative movement." He transformed American politics in the 1960s and ’70s by pioneering the use of direct mail fundraising in the political and ideological spheres. According to the American Freedom Agenda website, Viguerie’s advertising firm has mailed more than 2 billion letters over the past 42 years. He is author of the book, “Conservatives Betrayed: How George W. Bush and Other Big Government Republicans Hijacked the Conservative Cause.” Last Friday, Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) announced that he will run for his party's presidential nomination in 2012. He has run twice before. What do you think he has learned from those two experiences? Ron Paul isn’t running to be President, although he probably would like to be. His obvious goal is to use the microphone that a national presidential campaign would give him to 1) educate people regarding his views 2) provide leadership to the Libertarian cause. Last week, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich also announced his candidacy for President of the United States. What voters might he appeal to? Gingrich’s brief presidential campaign is closely following his political career of the last 30 plus years of being unguided, unfocused and unpredictable. He did serious harm (probably fatal) to his presidential campaign this weekend by referring to right-wing extremism, approving personal mandates and attacking the “Sainted” Paul Ryan. The law of politics is define or be defined and Gingrich made a serious unforced error this weekend by not being on board with the conservative playbook. Gingrich is now left to compete with Romney for the big-government Republican vote. Gingrich’s long-shot presidential campaign just moved into the slim to none category. So when you look at the top-rated Republicans—Mitt Romney, Tim Pawlenty, Newt Gingrich, Sarah Palin, Mitch Daniels, Ron Paul, Donald Trump, Michele Bachman and Rick Santorum—what picture in your mind is forming so far about the 2012 race? Which GOP candidates intrigue you the most? Most conservatives are not intrigued by any of the announced or widely-talked-about presidential candidates. There are some that conservatives like, admire and respect, but they don’t believe that they are going to be elected president in 2012. Most all conservatives I talk to agree with me that our dream candidate would be Senator Jim DeMint. I would personally like to see (and expect there to be) a draft DeMint campaign. There is a likely wild card in the 2012 race that will significantly rearrange the political landscape. People regularly ask me who will be the Republican nominee for president in 2012. I tell them that I haven’t the foggiest idea. But I say I do know who is going to be the Vice Presidential nominee and that is Senator Marco Rubio, and if that this the case, it not only will significantly affect the 2012 presidential race, but also the House and Senate races, as well as electoral politics for the next 10 plus years. In your view, how has the killing of bin Laden changed Mr. Obama’s re-election prospects? It’s too early to evaluate how the killing of Bin Laden will play out in the 2012 presidential campaign. However, it’s a rare presidential race where foreign policy is a significant factor. Much more important will be: $4 or $5 gas prices, 9% plus unemployment, inflation, the national debt, spending, and taxes. How much do you think the 2012 election will be about the candidates’ messages versus their ability to raise the millions necessary to reach the finish line? Or, is it just about jobs and the economy? In the 2008 presidential campaign, McCain’s self –inflicted financial problems hurt him big time. In 2012 it’s likely that the GOP and Democratic candidates will be competitive. However, a great deal depends on who the Republican nominee is. In 2008, the nominee and the base of the party were at odds and had been for 15 plus years. If the nominee in 2012 has similar baggage, Obama will be a prohibitive favorite for reelection. Because John McCain was so out of sync with the conservative movement, the new and alternative media (direct mail, talk radio, cable television, Internet) did not play a major role in his campaign. However, the new and alternative media did play a huge role in the 2010 election and will play an even more important role in the 2012 election.

Palin to Write History Book June 9, 2011 | EdWords | Leave a comment
Regnery Publishing announced today that it has signed Sarah Palin to write a definitive history of the United States. Regnery is the leading conservative publisher in the United States. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but a source close to Ms. Palin has confirmed that the deal includes an an advance in the high six figures.
The Regnery press release announcing the deal praised Ms. Palin’s shoot-from the-hip approach to the subject. “So many history texts are dull recitations of scrupulously researched data in complete and understandable English sentences. Sarah Palin’s careless disregard for the stuffy, uninteresting facts of history and her inability to frame a simple sentence will be a much-needed breath of fresh air.”
In addition to her recent revelation that Paul Revere made his famous midnight ride to warn the British that the British were coming, the book will correct a number of historical accuracies. Among the more stunning revelations in the book: Abraham Lincoln never lived at his Gettysburg address; FDR’s reckless New Deal spending caused the Great Depression; and Ronald Reagan won the Vietnam War.
In related news, the Texas Board of Education announced that it will replace its current history textbooks with Ms. Plain’s book as soon as it is available, making it highly likely that most other states will be forced to follow suit. ”We already demand that history texts for Texas students support only an extreme conservative vision of America, and we expect Sarah Palin’s book to conform to our agenda nicely. Besides, today’s students don’t know horse puckey about their own history, and we expect this textbook to be a welcome addition to their almost total lack of education.”
Publishing date and price are unavailable at this time.

Palin future clouded by sex, drugs claims
SARAH Palin's political future was thrown into jeopardy last night after claims that she had a one-night stand with a basketball star shortly before her marriage and snorted cocaine with her husband while on a snowmobiling trip.
Reports based on a new book about her by Joe McGinniss allege that she also smoked marijuana with one of her college professors and had a six-month affair with Brad Hanson, one of her husband's former business associates.
Mrs Palin, the former Governor of Alaska, has not ruled out a White House campaign next year but the new allegations, based on interviews with about 200 of her present and former associates, could be devastating for her political ambitions, given her carefully constructed image as a model working mother and defender of homespun family values.
Ms Palin has not formally entered the Republican race for 2012, being a notable omission from the series of GOP debates, but has visited a number of primary states over recent months.
The Australian, 18 Aug 2011 She had been tipped to make an attention-grabbing, last-minute entry into the Republican battle to take on President Barack Obama at next year's election.
McGinniss, an established non-fiction author since his bestselling account of Richard Nixon's 1968 presidential run, spent four months last year in a rented cabin a few metres from the Palin residence on the shore of Lake Lucille in Alaska.
His book is to be published in the US next week but a copy has been obtained by Garry Trudeau, the Doonesbury cartoonist, who has devoted several of his recent strips to its disclosures. Trudeau cites named sources including Gary Wheeler, Mrs Palin's former head of security, describing her as "a housewife who happened to be a governor" and would regularly leave work at 3pm for shopping trips.
In another strip a source recalls her saying before a meeting: "I got on my biggest push-up bra. I'm gonna get what I want."
In yet another her former chief of staff, Mike Tibbles, alleges that as Governor she ordered that 20 staff from ethnic minority backgrounds be fired because "Sarah just isn't comfortable in the presence of dark-skinned people".
That image is belied by another startling claim in the book - that, in private at least, Mrs Palin had a "fetish" for black men. Nine months before her marriage to Todd Palin, when they were already a couple, she is said to have spent a night with the basketball player Glen Rice, in her sister's dorm room at the University of Alaska.
Mrs Palin was a local sports reporter at the time. Rice, who went on to play for the Miami Heat, is said to be quoted by McGinniss confirming that the tryst took place.
A publishing source close to the book, The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin, said yesterday: "Glen Rice is the hottest piece in the book."
The account of the youthful Sarah Palin's alleged encounter with a 6ft 8in sports star will add texture to the deeply traditional persona she has cultivated for her Tea Party followers. But it is the claim that she snorted cocaine off an upturned 55-gallon oil drum while snowmobiling with friends that has the most potential to derail her Republican career. McGinniss also reports that Mrs Palin smoked marijuana with a professor who was also the father of a friend while she was a journalism student at Mat-Su College in Anchorage.
President George W. Bush pre-empted investigation into his past drug use by owning up to it before running for President. Until now, Mrs Palin has not needed to address such allegations, and she did not respond yesterday to a request for comment.
The book is being released by Crown Publishing, an imprint of Random House, which stood by its claims yesterday.
"It's based on extensive reporting by Joe McGinniss in Alaska and on interviews with 200 people who have known Sarah Palin very well at different stages of her life and career," David Drake, Crown's publicity director, told The Times.
"The book has been very carefully examined for factual accuracy. People will see that it is a very revelatory portrait of Mrs Palin. It looks closely at her entire life and political career and will reveal some previously unknown aspects of her story."
Asked whether a story on the book published yesterday (Wednesday) by The National Enquirer accurately reflected its contents, Mr Drake said: "They have a history of often getting stories right."
Mrs Palin has created a unique and lucrative niche for herself in American political life since running as John McCain's vice-presidential candidate in 2008 and resigning as Governor of Alaska in 2009. Her stature as a Republican kingmaker collapsed after her ill-judged response to the shooting of the Democratic congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords in January, but she has continued to flirt with the idea of a presidential run.
She made no secret of her loathing for McGinniss when he rented the house neighbouring her compound in May last year, and erected a tall wooden fence between them to deny him a view of her daughter's bedroom and the family swimming hole.

AH!! Another way the Democrats play the "Race Card"!! Clever bunch of churls. Guy writes a book. Makes up stuff to help the book sell. Everyone involved denies the claims, but the damage is already done. Seems to me that if Palin was a crack head it would have come out by now, what with all of the people that have been gunning for her. Ever seen a real crack head? I guarantee yo that they don't look like Palin. I have a nephew that got onto that stuff. Very few teeth left. Skin looks like leathetr. Has a problem with thought process and making complete sentances. See any of that in Palin? I don't. But the race card AND drug abuse claims are effective tools. They never will be proven, but it does not matter. People have already made up their minds. Perhaps a little study of Mr. McGinniss' background and his agenda would be enlightening. He's a professional "career ender". It's what he does. He's a hired gun. Wonder who's paying his tab on this one. (I'm willing to bet that he has "DNC" tatooed on one of his butt cheeks.)

As a certain news commentator says; I don't make the news I just report it! ~~~ "All's fair in love, war, & politics!" [ low blows included ] ~~~ Taking a couple snorts does not make you a crack head but it might explain her sexual exploits. ~~~ McGinniss and Cafferty [ of CNN ] should get together. They both have ambitions of destroying Sarah. 2 0n 1 is no fun ( pun-pun) but I'll bet she could hold her own against either one. I understand her, her disposition, personality, and charisma she carries as a "Good'ol hometown girl" :but: put her in a situation where she has to 'brainy' things and her disposition changes. Yes she's narcissistic to a certain extent :but: who's not? She says many things that require reading between the lines; like high lift bra ... I get that But seriously she may not be presidential material {in fact she's not} but I do enjoy her as a person of conviction, charm, and unique personality. ~~~ "(I'm willing to bet that he has "DNC" tatooed on one of his butt cheeks.)" o0OH! .. right next too "?" ... which describes him pretty well!!! ;D

During this US election cycle we are hearing a lot from the pundits and candidates about "heartland voters," and "white working class voters." What they are talking about are rednecks. But in their political correctness, media types cannot bring themselves to utter the word "redneck." So I'll say it for them: redneck-redneck-redneck-redneck. The fact is that we American rednecks embrace the term in a sort of proud defiance. To us, the term redneck indicates a culture we were born in and enjoy. So I find it very interesting that politically correct people have taken it upon themselves to protect us from what has come to be one of our own warm and light hearted terms for one another. On the other hand, I can quite imagine their concern, given what's at stake in the upcoming election. We represent at least a third of all voters and no US president has ever been elected without our support. ~~~ dent, your look'n in the wrong place for them galdarn papers (credentials), don't u member go'n to the outhouse and not having any toilet paper? ~~~ dent quote In a Redneck Race, Indiana will always comes in behind Mississippi.
