www.politicsdaily.com/2010/10/28/bill-clinton-leaned-on-democrat-kendrick-meek-to-quit-florida-se/Democratic Rep. Kendrick Meek on Thursday night denied that Bill Clinton asked him to drop out of the Florida Senate race last week, contradicting a Clinton spokesman and published reports. Politico reported Thursday that Clinton tried to get Meek to quit in an effort to halt Republican Marco Rubio's surge in the polls and to boost independent Gov. Charlie Crist's chances in the three-way race. Sadly, news like this isn't a huge surprise anymore. Why can't we just have a clean race and let the one who gets the most valid votes win?

he later admitted that there was talk but that he told clinton that there was no way he was dropping out. Alaska is getting pretty dirty now with a radio or tv station making up things about miller to destroy his chances. It has been a dirty campaign year for sure.
