Soooo........what do you think of the "change" in our "transparent" government?
Looks like business as usual to me.

I wouldn't say 'business as usual' by any means - it's worse than usual. I'm sure that the corruption has been there for a long time, they're just not worried about hiding it anymore, n that's pretty scary.

Oh there has been change alright....change for the worse. Like the Meryl Haggard song....rolling downhill like a snowball heading towards Hell. Opps hope I can say that on here.

The "change went outta our paychecks and into the Government's pockets! The "transparency" is evident. You can see the corruption ever more clearly

I think the power players that put the "OBAMA the candidate" package together thought the country was in the right spirit to accept their agenda. So they organized their strategy, promoted change from the roof-tops and got him elected. Once elected, they began pushing through their agenda, which has been met with much more resistance than they expected, and now they're scrambling. It seems as if they are running around like a chicken with it's head cut off. They can't seem to even get consensus among their party anymore.
Is the Tea Party the solution? I don't really know, but I do know that the November election is crucial to stabilizing our democracy. I encourage each of you to vote candidate, not party. Educate yourself on the candidates and the issues on your ballot, don't go to the polls unprepared. Encourage EVERYONE you come across to VOTE.
Let's show the current administration what "Bringing Change to Washington" really looks like!

Look at the voting records of the candidates on issues that matter the most to you. Sometimes, a politician will say one thing and vote the other way.

and "we the people" have voiced our opinion. Hey!? Obama? Can ya hear our voice now? Get back to the Constitution. We're all gonna have to pitch in and get ourselves outta debt. Fewer governmental services and higher taxes...like it or not. If the newly elected can't get the job done, we'll boot their butts out too. That's it... I'm gonna run for President again. Vote Sweeper 2012

not sure what you all are talking about what has remained the same or what has become worse It's all about "opinions" jay. Answer your own questions and you will be on subject. Nobama supporters were offered "change" and "hope" The only change I see totals to around 14 TRILLION dollars, but it's not in my pocket. I think all that change is gonna be going to China. However, I do have a lil "spare change" left. and that promise of "HOPE" evidently has turned out to be "HYPE" Socialism on the rise. Lying politicians. The upper elite (Bilderberg) still hold the puppet strings to the office of the President of the United States. Google Bilderberg.

As we look forward to the Newly Elected Congress taking their seats what is it that we want from them to do. First lets work towards a balanced budget. get rid of all pork. we cant afford pet projects. Not when we owe our enemies 14 trillion. Next we need to pass the fair tax, line item veto and term limits. We also need to get back to the Constitution as the basis for our Government. Which we need to reduce the size of. We cant afford a large beauocracy. And the last thing I'll add is to again repeal Health Care, and adopt a system that will reduce cost add tort reform and allow for insurance competition across state lines. These are but a few of the things that they need to work on feel free to add to the list.

You couldn't have said it any better - you expressed my wishes (and no doubt, millions of others') precisely!

There was none.... He promised all bills would be available for 72 hrs before passing. It wasn't . He promised jobs... And that unemployment would not go above 8 0/0. And its almost 10 0/0. He promised no new taxes... Yet he wants to cancel the Bush tax cuts. Which will raise tax on all of us. He promised A Bi-Partisan relationship with congress and yet it's the most Partisan in History. So there was change but Change we can believe in....and not the kind of change we were promised.
