Wow! We have some like that at home I am sure of it. Just can't prove it.
So has he been sentenced yet? I hope they stuck it to him. Not just a slap on the wrist!

Well if the man is found guilty, then why isn't he put right in jail? It should take so long to decide how long or what his sentence should be. The man is guilty he said so himself. Throw away the keys and get it over with. Teach him a lesson he won't for get. If it was you or it we would be setting in jail now.

Exactly Hoosier. If it were me, I would have been taken away right then. He'll probably end up at some retired military base playing golf for the next 20 yrs. This story is far from over.

Archbold settles, Hospital pays $13.9 millon to governmentJohn D. Archbold Memorial Hospital has agreed to pay the federal government $13.9 million and attorneys fees to settle charges that it misrepresented itself as a government-owned and government-operated hospital to obtain increased federal funds in the Medicaid program. The settlement was the result of a whistleblower suit filed in 2008 by Wesley Simms, M.D., a Thomasville pathologist. Simms’ attorney, Bryan Vroon of Atlanta, said Wednesday the settlement is one of the largest amounts ever paid by a Georgia hospital to settle charges of fraud on the federal government in the joint federal-state Medicaid Program. Simms filed his case under the federal False Claims Act, which allows a private citizen with knowledge of fraud on the government to sue on the government’s behalf and receive a share of the proceeds. The Thomasville physician’s suit, known as a whistleblower action, allows private citizens to bring civil actions on behalf of the United States and share in any recovery. As part of today’s resolution, the whistleblower — Simms — will receive $695,151 from the settlement amount, according to a U.S. Department of Justice statement released Wednesday.
