He approached the County Commissioners about entering into an interlocal agreement to pursue this since part of the road is in the county and leads to the city / county park, the county fairgrounds etc. and the County Commissioners declined. NOTE: The City Council voted 4 to 1 tonight to proceed with the close to 4 million dollar renovation of City Hall. The last meeting in the current building will be the first Monday of January. After that the City Meetings will be held behind the Sheriffs station in the meeting room off of Ireland st. NOTE: Interesting development in the appointment of a PUBLIC HEARING OFFICER. The Council voted for Dr. Rodney King to serve in this capacity. The only explanation was that there was a potential removal of a board member.
