The press needed to be challenged on integrity, truth, honesty, and unbiased reporting, getting the facts and telling them without spin, or liberal agendas and bias. Which 'would be' the opposite of what the democratic party has and is continuing to do!

WHY SO??? Many Democrats have a hard time understanding why Republicans want to keep investigating the Sept. 11, 2012, terrorist attack in "Benghazi" *=* When 'heads of state' blatantly tell lies for their own political stature (the level of respect that people have for a successful person, organization) The POTUS to not be accused of more lies than he's already told - Al-Qaeda is on the run! "&" The Secretary of State for not heeding the warnings sent *=* What else would you expect? The rest of the Obama administration. First, there was the attempt to blame the attack on outrage over an anti-Muslim Internet video -- a claim that was quickly discounted by everyone who has investigated the matter.
Then the State Department conducted an internal review that seemed designed, in part, to build a firewall around then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Then the administration failed to make available a single witness who was actually on the ground in Benghazi the night of the attack.
And recently, of course, Republican complaints that the administration has withheld documents were dramatically confirmed by revelations of emails the administration failed to produce to Congress.
The administration's stance long ago exhausted whatever patience existed among Hill Republicans. Members are "really tired of getting jerked around," another aide said recently. That's a succinct explanation for the creation of the new select committee.
But it didn't have to be that way. The rest of the administration could have cooperated like the Defense Department. If it had, Washington would be talking about something else now. Instead, the fight goes on.
So go figure why democrats don't want this brought up and investigated(?)

Cummings vs Issa In December 2010 Edolphus Towns announced that he would not seek the position of Ranking Minority Member of the Oversight Committee in the next Congress, even though his seniority and service as Chair would typically result in him filling this post. Reportedly, Towns withdrew because of a lack of support from Nancy Pelosi who feared that he would not be a sufficiently aggressive leader of Democrats in an anticipated struggle with incoming committee chair Republican Darrell Issa. Reportedly, the White House also wanted Towns to be replaced. Cummings defeated Carolyn Maloney in a vote of the House Democratic Caucus. So this war has been going on now for 4 years~?~ www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/issa-vs-cummings-round-xxviiExcerpt: Issa vs. Cummings, Round XXVII By Steve Benen Poor Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.). The hapless chairman of the House Oversight Committee came up with all kinds of creative ideas about the IRS and assorted “scandals,” all of which turned out to be baseless – and at times, kind of silly. But hope springs eternal. Issa now has a brand new IRS-related attack, and this time, instead of taking the offensive against the White House or Obama administration officials, the California Republican is going after the ranking member of his own committee, Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), whom Issa recently tried to literally silence during a faux hearing on the faux IRS controversy. Issa asked conservative media to find his new scheme interesting and Fox News quickly obliged, making Cummings its “new punching bag.” Monday night, he and other Democratic members of the House Committee investigating the IRS over allegations that it targeted conservative groups took a pounding on Megyn Kelly’s show over recently released emails. Tuesday morning, the beatdown intensified on “Fox & Friends,” which kept flashing headlines like: “Where’s the Outrage? Media ignores Cummings role in IRS scandal.” “There’s explosive new evidence,” host Elizabeth Hasselbeck said, introducing a discussion of Cummings, “that he was leading the charge against conservatives the entire time” that he was part of a panel that was supposed to be investigating the IRS for allegedly treating conservative groups unfairly. [ As can be seen from above-this was taken from MSNBC ]

Allen West Exclusive: Confidential Source Reveals To Me What Really Happened In Benghazi
By Allen West
Today as I returned from Detroit, I had a moment that I truly felt was God sent, as I don’t believe in coincidences. It happened on one of my flights, and it was two hours I will never forget.
I was seated beside someone who personally knew one of the men who was there on the roof in Benghazi. This person was excited to share with me the “ground truth” of what happened September 11, 2012.
My seat mate drew schematics to orient me to the “time and spacing” and the direction of the attack. I learned about the repeated orders to the men at the CIA annex to stand down and do nothing — thank God two of them, Glenn Doherty and Ty Woods, lived up to their code of honor and ran to the sound of the guns, resulting in their loss of life — but the preservation of life for others, their fellow Americans.
I learned about the proximity of the staging area of the attack to the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, and the attackers were indeed Ansar al-Sharia, a group affiliated with al-Qaida. I came to understand why Ambassador Chris Stevens was there in the first place and that he had in fact requested better security but was denied – the question is, by whom?
