Marriage - the formal union of a man and a woman, typically recognized by law, by which they become husband and wife.
Civil Union - a legally recognized union of a same-sex couple, with rights similar to those of marriage.
There you have it folks, that solves all the political discussions, disapprovals, and dilemma.
* 1 Corinthians 6:9
Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,
** Husband & wife clarifies marriage and separates it from civil unions.
*** Specific language should be used to differentiate the ceremonies.
**** This eliminates the need for further discussion concerning 'mate genders'.

The National Organization for Marriage plans to march on the Supreme Court in Washington, and Mr. Cordileone is one of the featured speakers, the San Francisco Chronicle reported. “We share our love of the Catholic faith and our city of San Francisco,” Mrs. Pelosi reportedly wrote to Mr. Cordileone, urging him to abandon an event in which some of the participants, she said, show “disdain and hate towards LGBT persons.” “If someone is gay and is searching for the Lord and has good will, then who am I to judge him?” she asked. “While we may disagree on the subject of marriage equality, we do agree that every person is a child of God, possessed of the spark of divinity and worthy of respect.” The second annual March for Marriage seeks to draw thousands to the Supreme Court in support of “traditional marriage.” Mike Huckabee and Rick Santorum are also slated to speak, The Chronicle reported. June 19 March for Marriage NOM www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Hkstr8Co8MISan Francisco’s Roman Catholic archbishop, Salvatore Cordileone, told critics (Pelosi)* who have assailed his decision to speak at the March for Marriage in Washington, D.C., this Thursday that the event is not an attack on gays and lesbians. * Which is the best reason I can think of to-do-it! “The March for Marriage is not ‘anti-LGBT’ (as some have described it); it is not anti-anyone or anti-anything,” Cordileone said in a letter released Monday. “Rather, it is a pro-marriage march. The latter does not imply the former. Rather, it affirms the great good of bringing the two halves of humanity together so that a man and a woman may bond with each other and with any children who come from their union.” Accompanying Freedom is her constant and unattractive companion, Responsibility. Neither is she an only child. Patriotism and Morality are her sisters. They are inseparable: destroy one and all will die.
