Since times are changing I think we do need antiquated laws dropped from state and possibly federal manifests.
IMHO - I also think since presidents are no longer determined by popular vote by merit but by money the way of selecting a president should be changed. My solution to this evident problem is to let the "governors-of-the-states" decide by majority vote in a run off election. I also think they could work across the aisle better than our current congress does. Run-of-elections can be run in many different forms and I suggest the governors decide how and which they use. This, to me, would be a much more efficient method of selecting a national representative for our country. They would certainly have the best interests of the governors and therefore the states and the people of the states than "WE" currently have. At present, Governor Christie is chairman of the Republican Governors Association (RGA) and Vermont Gov. Peter Shumlin, the DGA chairman of the democrats, should be discussing this with their parties.
I would appreciate your input concerning this also.
