People often worry that unregulated markets will not sufficiently provide good things: education, charity, diversity of opinion, art, etc. It is also commonly believed that markets allow too many bad things: racism, discrimination, environmental degradation, consumer scams, low quality or dangerous products, etc. *=* The irony is that there is abundant evidence of just the opposite.*=* www.valuesandcapitalism.com/dialogue/economics/when-market-delivers-too-much-good-thing-and-too-little-bad-thingOther Excerpts: When there is too much racism, environmental destruction, financial risk taking or other bad things, there is nearly always a government policy making these things cheaper than they are in a free market. When there is not enough benevolence, consumer protection, choice, education or other good things, there is nearly always a government policy making these things more expensive than they are in a free market.

The president has announced he is devoting the rest of his time in office to an "inequality agenda" which means he'll be dealing only with himself. He's got a pen and he's got a phone so the White House is having a champagne-soaked, star-studded party that's somewhat off-message. He says I can use that pen and move the ball forward making sure I get the kind of support and help needed to get the 'party' rolling. "There’s no doubt that there’s some folks who just really dislike me" because I'm a product of a biracial making me a mulatto and it's made me a misfit by both races. The pigment of my skin has and will determine my destiny. “Now, on the flip side, ( which I've been known to do ), of it is there are some black folks and maybe some white folks who really like me and give me the benefit of the doubt about race and birthright(citizenship and color). The above has been 'paraphrased' somewhat but all of it is statements our president has made. Now the stage is set for his last 3 year agenda: www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/wonkblog/wp/2014/01/06/wonkbook-obama-wants-to-make-inequality-the-defining-issue-of-2014/God Bless The United States of America
