I really don't think she has a chance to win Minority Leader if her party really wants to improve its rating with the American People. Americans want a centrist Government and wants their Government to listen to them. Nancy, Harry, and Obama are the reason the Repub's won all the seats this time. On second thought it might be good for the Republicans in 2012 if she does get it.

The Daily Caller.... Had this as from the AP " WASHINGTON (AP) — Despite widespread complaints about massive losses that will put Democrats in the minority, Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Friday she will try to stay on as leader of her party in the House. The decision exposed a rift between Pelosi’s liberal allies and the dwindling number of moderate Democrats, who feel besieged and eager for substantive and symbolic changes in direction after Tuesday’s Republican rout. It also is likely to trigger leadership battles farther down the ladder. Pelosi, the nation’s first female speaker, said many colleagues urged her to seek the post of minority leader in the new Congress that convenes in January. That will be the Democrats’ top post, because Republicans , who grabbed more than 60 Democratic-held seats Tuesday, will elect the next speaker. It will be John Boehner of Ohio, who will swap titles with Pelosi if she succeeds in her bid. “We have no inten Read more: dailycaller.com/2010/11/05/pelosi-will-seek-to-stay-as-house-dem-leader/#ixzz14c0a3lwj

An arrogant, egomaniac lunatic.
She will NOT go easily.
She feels that she is right & all that disagree with her are just plain stupid.

politix.topix.com/img/KS80KVRPAUJMIDT3-rszw514Image: AP. Nancy Pelosi's back. The San Francisco Democratic congresswoman lost her speakership in 2010 after four years, amid that year's Republican sweeps. Now she's likely to deliver the majority of votes on a fiscal cliff-avoidance deal, reports The San Francisco Chronicle. Pelosi "leads a unified caucus whose votes will be needed to pass any deal to avert more than $600 billion in tax increases and spending cuts come Jan. 1." House Speaker John Boehner's "Republicans, by contrast, are rebellious and fractured, having abandoned their leader." The situation is ironic considering the political target Pelosi once was. "Having lost the speaker's gavel in 2010 after a GOP pummeling that drove her approval rating into the basement, Pelosi now finds herself more popular than Boehner, whose 31 percent approval rating in a recent Rasmussen survey now ranks him as the least-liked congressional leader." Pelosi's Democratic Caucus doesn't have many moderate or conservative-leaning lawmakers left. Most are cut from the same liberal cloth as Pelosi, so she's in little danger of losing her leadership position. Lord Forbid!
