Dad's work place until 1948.
The Wright Brothers’ original company in Dayton, through a series of acquisitions and mergers, evolved into the Wright Aeronautical Company, which established in 1940 a piston engine factory in the northern Cincinnati suburbs ( Lockland, Ohio), according to GE Aviation spokesman Rick Kennedy. The factory closed after the war. In 1948, General Electric began leasing space in the empty buildings of the former Wright Aeronautical, and it ultimately became the world headquarters of jet engine maker GE Aviation.
He then went to work for GE Aeronautical, he was a design engineer machinist.

IMPO: This thread and all it's entries are Ricks! Yes folks he plays both sides against the middle. Self satisfaction is the goal depending on which bipolar person he is at any given time. He thinks ( he's ) the only person intelligent enough for him to talk to so he creates mimics.

Weird has it's members and it's 'guest' I'll not say which is which or make a list there's posters from both sides that I'll insist should be banned and forgotten that they ever exist! Now to say Weird is a forum that continues to thrive would also be telling you even many more common lies It's obvious to see the blogging has fell off miserably and for that reason we should be concerned and try to see what can be done to make the website more acceptable sociably One thing I recommend for them to do is cause the trolls to flee! Now all that being said I hope I haven't offended but instead encouraged others on the forum to share my feelings and reform from being obnoxious and acting deformed so 'we' can continue the forum.

[ but he forgot to tie up the big belly ]='i'll tell that story later!!! It's later > > > We took a quarter side of sow belly with us for some meat and grease to cook with. lepetitcanardfarm.files.wordpress.com/2014/11/wp_20141030_001.jpgAs you can see (just one of those pieces) from the picture it doesn't look that appetizing but to 2 starving kids it was like fried chicken. (Ours was sugar cured not salt cured) [ but that's another story also]. When we all got back to camp things were a mess, foxes or wild dogs had rummaged thru everything, the meat was gone. I ran to where I'd hide my candy bar so Larry wouldn't get it and it was save. Now what do-we-do??? Pops said, "Boys go catch some fish!" ?since he didn't have any luck hunting? I don't even know if there is such a thing anymore as sunfish - encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSgg9iFGQt-5ozxoOkoGVzj5o_DyIYlPXvBe6AChEMYW5tasCERKAYep! that's a picture of 1 and you see the size. So off we go to catch supper (it's about 4 pm @ this point) so we decide to take a little dip 1st,we got sweaty do'n all that choppin. Afler a short swim we were ready to catch supper but they weren't ready to be caught. We finally mangaed to catch 3 ( 1 apiece ), so back to the campsite we go. !!! IS THAT ALL YOU GOT!!! He Yelled? Pop Pa they just weren't bitting. Scale and gut'm while I fix some cornbread, he said. It's now about an hour before dark. We came back from the creek after cleaning the fish and he had a fire going and the iron skillet in the center of it with the cornbread in it. He said go cut some green limbs to put the fish on so we can cook'm, hickory was the best for that and we knew it, so we did. Now we're setting around the fire, feels pretty good, and the coyotes start yelping, the mules get antsy and we're hungry so we eat. The fish was delicious and the cornbread tasted more like cake it was so sweet - Pops wasn't the best cook but that was great. Of course in true fashion after supper is story telling time and Pop Pa starts talking about his indian background, his mother was full blooded, then he gets into the 'fantasy' section of the story but Larry and I listen closely, he's better at stories than cook'n. We now go to bed on hay and cover ourselves with an Army blanket from WW II, sent home by my Uncle Leon who I'm named after. Good night to you too guys, I'm going down for supper, doubt I'll be back tonight, see you around 5 AM. Don't forget to say your prayers!
