He is pandering to this demographic simply in the hopes of getting their votes and earning their trust and support. This is just like how Wisnton Churchill famously remarked that appeasers feed “a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last.” The occasion for these interesting remarks by Reverend Jackson came as he appeared before the Arab American Civil Rights League (AACRL). Of course, he told them how much he sympathizes with their cause and also said that they were being shamefully discriminated against and must stand up and fight for their rights. Apparently, some of their members have been placed on no-fly lists and have even had their bank accounts closed. The group also filed a lawsuit earlier this year to try and stop these indignities. Oh, the horror! Also, as a supposedly committed Christian, one would think that Rev. Jackson would be against bombings of Christian churches around the world. Yet, instead he actively panders to the Muslim community…and has done so since his presidential bids in the early 1980′s. He fuels their sense of victimhood of these groups, attempting to instill in them his own hatred of the American system. You see, it is obvious that the Rev. Jackson feels strongly America is a fundamentally evil country that must at the very least be controlled and constrained, perhaps even destroyed and rebuilt. So, it really does not come as any surprise when JJ tells these people to “Love yourself. Stand up and fight back.” Or when he tells them that “You are God’s people.” How interesting. Maybe this is also where Obama gets his hatred of the American system. Perhaps this is also why Obama continues ignoring the worldwide war against Christianity. |

He quickly learned the newsboy's patter and would keep it up until a prospective buyer bought a copy of the paper just to quiet young Skelton.[5] In 1923, a man came up to the young newsboy, purchased every paper he had and asked him if he wanted to see the show in town, giving him a ticket. The man, comedian Ed Wynn, was part of the show and later took young Skelton backstage. It was then that he realized what he wanted to do with his life.[6] (Skelton also told another version of this story, with Raymond Hitchcock as the actor.[8]) Skelton learned when young that he could make people laugh. When Skelton was ten, he auditioned to be part of a medicine show. When he accidentally fell from the stage, breaking bottles of medicine as he fell, people laughed. The young boy realized he could earn a living with his ability.[5] By age 14, he had left school and was already a veteran performer, working in local vaudeville and on a showboat, "The Cotton Blossom", that traveled the Ohio and Missouri rivers. |

Growing up on the farm I had a turkey Gobbler pet, he'd gobble when I whistled, come up to me and I'd pet him. He didn't like Mom, he'd come up to her -jump up and flog her. She was afraid of him and animals can sense that. I told her to just grab him around the neck once and show him who was boss-she finally did and he never bothered her again. Afghan president condemns U.S. airstrike that killed a child

KABUL (Reuters) - President Hamid Karzai said U.S. forces had bombed a home in southern Afghanistan, killing a small child and wounding two women, and condemned the attack as a sign of disregard for civilian lives, his spokesman said on Thursday.
The strike could not have come at a worse time, as Karzai is engaged in a stand-off with the U.S. government over a bilateral security agreement that will decide whether U.S. troop stay in Afghanistan beyond 2014.
"It shows that U.S. forces have no respect for the decisions of the Loya Jirga and life of civilians in Afghanistan," said Karzai's spokesman, Aimal Faizi.
"If such operations continue, there will be no agreement."
The United States has threatened to pull its troops out of Afghanistan after 2014 - an outcome known as the "zero option", as it did in Iraq two years ago - unless a deal is clinched by the end of this year,
Karzai, however, has so far refused to sign, despite getting approval from the Loya Jirga last week. The council almost unanimously advised him to seal the agreement promptly, saying this was in the national interest.
Karzai instead has refused and made additional demands on the United States, including the return of all Afghan prisoners from its prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
The child killed in Thursday's bombing was two or three years old, Faizi said, adding that the attack took place after the targeted individual ran into a home for safety.
"They give no importance to the life of civilians. They are killing civilians like flies," Faizi said.
"That should have been a red line for them... Even if he was an insurgent they shouldn't have fired on the house."
A man was killed in a separate strike in the same province on Thursday afternoon, Faizi added. Local officials had yet to confirm whether the victim was an insurgent or not.
