Should the payroll tax cut be extended yet again? This question can't be answered on it's own merit. It depends on many decisions that haven't and may never be answered by our legislature. "WE" have a deficit that must be dealt with immediately-not-next- week! If 'we' made the right decisions to implement the necessary government and national cuts to budget this would be only one of many un-[cuts] we'd make. However the election turns out, 'we' must-get-our-house-in-order and if the present congress can't do that then there'll be an increase in unemployment in government of present employees.

Something has happened in our modern world that threatens our very way of living. When it comes to paying for goods and services, we have completely altered our standards of what is acceptable and what is good. The standard of good has been replaced by good enough, which is a way of justifying the mediocre. When we encounter the good enough standard on a regular basis, we come to accept it as normal.
But most criticism of conformity entirely misses what should be the real point. Most criticism of conformity consists of little more than a contempt for what is conventional merely because it is not different, without judging its possible merits (which might explain how it came to be followed), or of criticizing those who follow the example of others, on the assumption that they are feeble-minded as sheep

Mexican-bottled Coca-Cola Back when Coke got started, the company led the public to believe that the coca shrub — the source of cocaine — provided one of the ingredients, giving consumers that extra lift that we now associate with mirrors, tiny spoons, and rolled-up hundred-dollar bills. Of course back then cocaine was legal and sold over the counter. I can remember back in the 50's buying a 6 oz. coke that would settle your stomach and make you feel good!

First Amendment ArticlesUnique First Amendment Library And Analysis By Legal Specialists www.FirstAmendmentCenter.orgThe Supreme Court's Citizens United decision last year ended all limits on political spending. Now millions of dollars are being funneled to politicians without a trace. The limits were eroding even before Citizens United. For years large corporations have been flooding Washington with lobbyists who bundle individual contributions into a formidable war chest, bankrolling more and more lawmakers' campaigns. And a revolving door has developed between official Washington and Wall Street -- with bank executives becoming public officials who make rules that benefit the banks before heading back to the Street to make money off the rules they created. Other top officials, including an increasing proportion of former members of Congress, are cashing in by joining lobbying powerhouses and pressuring their former colleagues to do whatever their clients want. Why else do you suppose tax rates on the super-rich are now lower than they've been in three decades, and why -- even though the long-term budget deficit is horrendous -- those rates aren't rising? Why else do the 400 richest Americans (whose wealth is larger than the combined wealth of the bottom 150 million Americans) now pay an average tax rate of only 17 percent? Why do you think Wall Street got bailed out without a single string attached -- not even being required to help homeowners to whom they sold mortgages, who are now so far underwater they're drowning? And why does the financial reform legislation have loopholes big enough for bankers to drive their Ferraris through? And why else are oil companies, big agribusinesses, military contractors and the pharmaceutical industry reaping billions of dollars of government subsidies and special tax breaks? Experts say the 2012 presidential race is likely to be the priciest ever, costing an estimated $6 billion. "It is far worse than it has ever been," says Republican Sen. John McCain. Millionaires and billionaires on Wall Street and in executive suites aren't contributing all this money out of sheer love of country. Their political spending is analogous to their other investments. Mostly they want low tax rates and friendly regulations. Yet all this money is drowning out the voices of average Americans. Most of us don't have the dough to break through. Giving First Amendment rights to money and corporations has hobbled the First Amendment rights of the rest of us. edsteinink.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/FS120217.gifNow that corporations are people and money is speech, and Superpacs funded by anonymous donors dominate campaign spending, it's only a matter of time, I figure, before we finally can do away with the annoyance of having actual people run for office. In a perfect world, the corporate sponsors will have their lobbyists write and pass all legislation, and the presidency will become a coalition of like-minded corporate interests. No need for a human figurehead anymore.

At the beginning of this week I and others attended the three day Class by the Strategic Engagement Group. It was a Class geared towards Sheriff's their deputies, Military and former Military and retired and active Police Officers. The information that was given was about the Settlement Program of the Muslim Brotherhood,The workings of their Mosque and their infiltration of our Federal/State Government,With the help of The people we place into our Federal/State Governments. We must have hit a sore point by attending these Class's because of the local news media and the Local Muslim's reaction to our Class's. That said,If we were being given Bad Info about the Muslim Movement and their Goals in our country,Then why didn't they (Muslims) contest this information? They Didn't and they (Muslims) had the opportunity to do so at anytime. That said please take the time to investigate for yourselves. The other Item here is from the Oathkeepers ( Which I am a member.) Please take the time to check it out also. I think you'll find it interesting. As said by the Intel.Officer giving his 8hr part of the Class, " 2012 " is shaping up to be very messy. The acts sparked outrage and firm resistance to the tyrannical regime of King George III throughout the 13 colonies. These arbitrary violations of the rights of the colonists - rights enjoyed by all Englishmen - resulted in the convening of the First Continental Congress in order to organize a formal denouncement of the decrees and to unite the Americans in their resistance to the Crown. Despite various attempts by several delegates to reconcile with Britain, independence was declared within two years and the American War for Independence raged until liberty was achieved in 1783. Lately, the government of the United States of America has been passing measures masquerading as laws that are easily as arbitrary and deleterious of freedom as any of the coercive measures passed by the despotic regime of the British Empire that caused our ancestors to take up arms and reassert their freedoms. The latest and perhaps most egregious of these is the recently enacted National Defense Authorization Act of 2012 (NDAA). President Barack Obama signed the NDAA into law on New Year's Eve 2011, granting himself absolute power to deploy the armed forces of the United States to indefinitely detain American citizens suspected (by him) of being "belligerents." The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not. ~Thomas Jefferson~

The American political system has entered a new period of high-tech politics in which the behavior of citizens and policymakers, as well as the political agenda itself, is increasingly shaped by technology. The mass media are a key part of that technology. Television, radio, newspapers, magazines, and other means of popular communication are called mass media because they reach out and profoundly influence not only the elites but the masses. This chapter describes the historical development of the mass media as it relates to news coverage of government and politics. Questions regarding how news is defined, how it is presented, and what impact it has in politics are also addressed. wps.ablongman.com/long_edwards_ga_12/33/8515/2180014.cw/index.html

I've lost track since there's not not a scantly dressed well stacked debutant circling the ring with the large card and the number on it. At this point I'm pretty sure it's not a 10 rounder and I've pretty well determined it won't be a TKO match. I've even heard it might end up being a tag team. Some have already been knocked out of the ring but the bout continues. I also question the number of 'referees' required to judge the match.
EMT's have been stationed around the ring and are providing immediate monetary attention for all the contestants. That word would seem to fit best since it could easily be determined as a conflict of participants, I'm thinking protest'ants to the current champion. ( Ants all fighting the 'common enemy' )
This would be the practical place and time to interject an old proverb: ... =*= ```the enemy of my enemy is my friend' ' ' =*= HH

=*= THINK 'about' IT =*=
Romneys' campaign burned through $18.7 million in January, only to win primaries in New Hampshire and Florida.
Principals, morals, & values excluded, how much would it have taken to just \ buy/ the votes needed to win those 2-primaries? What would you sell your vote for? $100, $200 - reallly! how much - what's it take to \buy/ your future or your kids?
Now think about this; ...is the country in the shape it's in because you never even bothered to vote in past elections? Are you still happy with the way things are going?
Anyone that would spend millions to be president, do-you-think, has your "best interests" in mind? To take that a step further, do you suppose their salary and 'budget' (Air Force #1, health benefits, retirement, etc) will be appreciated using "OUR" tax dollars to cover it? Spending 50 to 100 million or more to become president and then taking 'our' money during his rein in office and for the rest of his life, ..does..that..make..sense..to..you?
By the people, of the people, for the people...sounds to 'me' like we're getting the first two from (or for) him...but the last one should be changed to F**k'n [used as an intensive] the people!

=*= Unemployment..."HONESTLY!" BLS - Bureau of Labor Statistics - I do not have the proper credentials to access the necessary ( .gov) websites for confirmed figures =therefore= any numbers are questionable but retrieved form the web. This is not a politically activated or initiated discussion =therefore = I am at liberty to use the word "HONESTLY!" ...includes common sense, reasoning, logical deduction, and facts ( *F ). Total number of people unemployed in the "US" - www.bls.gov/news.release/empsit.nr0.htmFeb 3, 2012 – The number of unemployed persons declined to 12.8 million in January How was this figure derived? Is it based on the number receiving unemployment compensation?...How else could this figure be determined?...Where does people fired, layed off, or dismissed from part-time jobs figure in?...And how many people working under the radar screen have been hired or fired? It's my estimation that over 20 million people are without work or have accepted inferior full or part-time jobs in order to 'exist'. Possibly 30 million...in *F I'd guess the [real unemployment rate is 12 to 15%] Gov. has (same as polls) the ability to shift, adjust, and use different varables to their advantage-sometimes the-facts-aren't-the-facts. As people fall off the compensation wagon are they no longer counted?...is the number of people 'hired' compared daily with those still out of work but {lost & forgotten?}? Remember that the unemployment rate is not "how many people don't have jobs?", but "how many people don't have jobs and are actively looking for them?" Let's say you've been looking fruitlessly for five months and realize you've exhausted every job listing in your area. Discouraged, you stop looking, at least for the moment. According to the government, you're no longer unemployed. Congratulations?
