I was able to leave the hospital last night and have been taking it easy ever since. I will be recovering for the next 4-6 weeks and then will be as good as new! Thanks for your well-wishes and prayers.

Sometimes things happen in your life and it takes a while to figure them out. The implications of the event and the actual event itself can be overpowering. In April of last year I experienced some minor chest pain. I thought it was due to some medication that I was taking. Doc ran some tests anyway. On April 16, 2010 I had the angioplasty stuff done. They pulled out and told me bypass surgery was called for. I was scheduled for April 20,2010. For 4 days I sweated bullets. This is the surgery where they stop your heart and hope they can jump start you later. After maxing out on the pucker factor I realized that all I could do was put myself in the hands of my surgeon and the Lord. After almost 10 hours of "being away" i noticed that I was a little sore. Pain is good. It means the jumper cables worked. The following week in the hospital was not at all unpleasant. I had feared it would be pain wracked. Not so. The Lord has taken me through this experience with little or no discomfort or pain, Sometimes you just have to step back and say, "Lord, I cannot handle this without you, so I am leaving this all up to you.". It's always best to leave things to the man that can actually do something about it. So, next time you hit the wall, back up and ask Him for help. He will always come through for you.
