'my' predictions::: "guesses"
The gov has f**#ed up bad, doesn't matter what they do now. Wall street is 'just looking' for a reason to screw stockholders again and this gives them the chance. Between gov & WS the [ average American ] hasn't got a chance. 401 K's, savings, and assets in general will take large tumbles. This includes house prices and the devaluation of the dollar. When it gets to the level they want they'll buy back in @ a fraction of the actual value and then {brainwash} the conservative investor back into building the market back up so they can cash in again. It's just the way greedy self-serving egotistical people think. Gold will be a "WORLD WIDE" valued commodity increasing in value to probably $ 2000/ ounce by the end of the year. And since our dollar is no longer backed by the gold standard we'll have cash but it won't buy anything. 'i' know 'i' make it sound pretty dismal, 'i' wish it wasn't so, ...BUT... as 'i've said before "What goes around comes around" get ready for the greatest depression this country has ever seen -- not for all { just "US" }>[shadow=red,left,300]"U" & 'me' "[/shadow]

"U" can't tell me politics & Wall Street aren't in the same sack: be it bed or 'gunny' ( cause if you shook'm up and opened the sack neither would fall out! TODAYS' REPORT!: Stocks: A [shadow=red,left,300]'schizophrenic' [/shadow]day Aug 01 4:27pm: Stocks took a wild ride Monday. The day started with an early rally fueled by hopes of a debt deal, but a weak manufacturing report quickly deflated that optimism -- leaving stocks little changed as investors await a House vote

Stocks end wild week with gains despite .
NEW YORK - The [shadow=red,left,300][shadow=red,left,300]wildest week [/shadow][/shadow]in Wall Street's history is ending on an up note.
A rebound in retail sales in July helped the stock market push higher Friday. The week has been marked by seesaw trading. The Dow Jones industrial average rose or fell by more than 400 points each of the first four days of the week as investors reacted to concerns about the global economy and Europe's debt problems.
The Dow is finishing with a gain of 125 points, or 1.1 percent, to 11,269. The S&P 500 is up 6, or 0.5 percent, to 1,279. The Nasdaq is up 15, or 0.6 percent, to 2,508.
Two shares rose for every one that fell on the New York Stock Exchange. Volume was an above average 4.9 billion shares.
