Dear public access counselor....
Our local newspaper and radio has publically asked a question several times and still (after 12 years) have not gotten an answer to how our City / Airport Board is going to back the Loan they are planning to take from a bank to finance the eminent domain portion of a grant , that is a reimbursement grant. The answer they keep giving is "we are working on it".....after 12 years why are they still "working on it"....the taxpayers DESERVE an answer to this question I too have asked this question in letters to the editor I have written and one of them was published. Can you assist us in getting an answer to this question from our Mayor / City Council / Airport board?!

Marc Haston November 28 · I am so mad right now. Several people have told me that airport board president Bill Ernstes talked to WTRE after Monday nights BOAC meeting. He claims that all the property owners are happy and cooperative. There is nothing further from the truth. Not one landowner is happy with this airport project. I have talked to each and every one of them. It’s appalling to see lies like this from a person ... See More www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=2089912274364488&set=a.443858485636550&type=3&theater

To : Bill Ernstes, President of the Airport Board
Mayor Dan Manus
I just received this information from Bobb Beauchamp:
Bobb.Beauchamp@faa.gov
10:38 AM (1 hour ago) to d'lorah.d.small, Rob.Esquivel, me
Mrs. Johannigman,
The latest grant the FAA issued to the Greensburg airport is FAA Grant number 3-18-0031-013-2018 (grant 13). The grant description is: Construct Runway [Final Design for New RW and Facility per CIP] – Plan 1 –
The Federal share (90%) of the grant is for the amount of $412,500.
As part of the application, and also to comply with the Airport Improvement Progam (AIP) eligibility, the sponsor needs to certify that they have the matching local share for the grant, which is 5% from the sponsor, and 5% from the state. So for this grant, the sponsor would need to certify they have $22,916 available to contribute as their local share.
Future grants for the next phases of the project will follow these same requirements, subject to changes from Congress.

I want to make a public information request for documentation of how the sponsor paid the local share of this FAA grant # 3-18-0031-013-2018 for a total of $22,916. As Mr. Beauchamp indicated to me above I will make this request for each grant you receive from the FAA through this process of attempting to expand our airport runway. I would also like to request who the sponsor is in this particular grant.
Thank you,
Jean Johannigman
