Interesting story, reminds me of a 'tale' I heard once from a guy named John who said;
"My fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country."
I think he knew the wolf was knocking at the door but no one listened to him and continued doing their own thing ignoring the raging storm bellying in the bowels of government. Defying responsibility, patriotism, and morality the "Me,me,me" generation has let the ship sink and only the flotation pillows remain atop the murk but they are so few and far between no one reaches for their safety and security.
Thus, the story be told of how a great nation was destroyed from within without a battle having been fought because all have lost their knowledge of heredity.
May God forgive us for 'our' lack of courage and commitment.
