I'm going to take a 'personal' (of or concerning one's private life, relationships, and emotions rather than matters connected with one's public or professional career) moment to [brag] on myself:
I owned this property for 5 years before I built on it but would set in the afternoons while looking over the lake I built or fishing while thinking if I built here how would I do it? I had several large spools given to me by REMC and I would plot the course of the sun on one thru the seasons.
When I began building I knew exactly how I wanted things, I drew a rough blue print of what the house would be with a great room (2 stories high and open)in the center with all glass facing the south west providing sun in the winter but the sun too high in the sky in summer to cause excess heat.
Today it's sunny and 15 *degrees and the furnace is not kicking on, I'm so proud of myself. LMAO!!!
PS: 1 of these days I'll post pictures, it's getting to be more than I can handle and as much as I hate it I'll have to leave it for someone more capable than me.
I've expressed to God if he wants to leave me here for a while I'm perfectly content, it's heaven on earth and until He's got room I'll continue to assume He is to.
