Obama said; "These two people were succumbing to violent extremist ideologies*.
* a system of ideas and ideals, especially one that forms the basis of economic or political theory and policy.
It would seem to me from that statement Obama is admitting to being an extremist since he won't say
"Radical Islamic Terrorist"
