Day 1 of December, it will fly like a flash
next year will come and we'll be out of cash
but the holidays for some strange reason
will still make it a very happy season.
Come the 1st of the year we'll all look back
while still eating Christmas goodies, snacks
and think of things the 'new year' lacks
and begin to think about what are the real facts
will the economy begin to benefit the middle class
or will 'we' still be taxed out the proverbial ass
the election will determine the fate of the nation
"WE" can only pray it doesn't lead to damnation!!
