It is apparent in these interviews that the Catholic faith is not being taught in fullness in the Catholic Church. I was once very much like many in these interviews. Understand that I am not saying that I am any "better" than anyone else....but that I have come to understand exactly, and am still learning more of what the Catholic Church teaching is. I was of the generation within the Church that slipped through the cracks on the fullness of the teaching of the faith. To be truly Catholic...you understand that the "deposit of faith" is the direct teaching of Christ handed down , in tact, through the succession of Popes. The "deposit of faith" is what Jesus Christ says, so if you understand that...you also understand that we have the free will to "accept" what Christ says...or "reject" what Christ says. In that ...our "opinion" on His teaching does not matter. Arch Bishop Fulton Sheen had a great quote applicable to the subject of this Vortex, as many people in this day who consider themselves Catholic do not know the fullness of Christ's teaching handed down with translation in His Church so that we do not "translate" / "opinionate" according to our own rationale: "There are not more than 100 people in the world who truly hate the Catholic Church, but there are millions who hate what they perceive to be the Catholic Church. ....As a matter of fact, if we Catholics believed all of the untruths and lies which were said against the Church, we probably would hate the Church a thousand times more than they do." www.catholicbible101.com/archbishopsheenquotes.htmDon't just accept the "opinion" of anyone you talk to. Start Digging into the Catholic faith and find out what it is truly teaching. Especially with Christians being put to death and crucified in the middle east prayer is needed more now than ever in our lifetime. |
